We watched skunks fuck in the park. They come out of the bushes at sunset, snuffle around.
One skunk sniffed another one’s ass and pussy, then bit the back of her neck, wrestled her to the ground and humped her furiously for six seconds. Other skunks around them snuffled for grubs and frolicked. Scratched at fleas. They waited a couple minutes and did it again.
What’s the lesson. Animals have it easy. He didn’t struggle with mechanics, he pushed and it was in. You sniff the pussy. If she’s in heat the smell gets you hard. Jump up, push it in, pump and nut and jump off and get a foot of distance. Even skunks have post nut clarity. Warm up to her again, roll around and nip at each other.
And the skunk’s a beautiful animal. If it were the Djiboutian sun badger and you had to to go to Djibouti to see it mate it’d be a highlight of your life. If it were in New Guinea and you paid $8,000 to canoe out and watch the mating ritual next to old guys with $15,000 camera rigs, if Attenborough had to sleep under a log 5 nights to capture it and narrate it, if it only happened on a full moon in cannibal country and a Planet Earth photographer was the only man to document it, disguised as a tree and staying still for days to see it, you’d be thrilled. You’d be telling your grandkids about it, blathering on at the National Geographic Society. But it’s right in the park and it’s free.
